  • Its leader is a self-declared “traditional Mi’kmaw chief” by the name of Danny Lareguy.
  • Lareguay is involved with the Green Fund of the Aboriginals of America (GFAA), as an “Aboriginal dignitary.” An April 2020 investigative report (in English here) by Radio-Canada alleged that the GFAA was involved in a financial scam against hundreds of consumers in Québec. Lareguay is/was their spokesperson.
