Cost: History: First appear in news stories around 2011. # of Members: Connections: “Chief” Grant Tysick has expressed animosity to AOO land claim process Contact: Supporting Docs Court Cases “Chief” Grant Tysick was convicted of illegal moose hunting in Algonquin Provincial Park in 2016. He was unable to provide evidence that he was Algonquin.

Ardoch Algonquin First Nation

Location: Ardoch, ON Origins: Founded as Ardoch Algonquin and Allies around 1980 by Harold Perry (Algonquin) and Bob Lovelace (white American). Since at least 2005, the organization has been run by white, non-Algonquins (Bob Lovelace, Randy Cota, Mireille Lapointe) with either no Algonquin ancestry or an Algonquin ancestor in 1600s.  Status: Active Registration: Registration process is unclear.
