- Created by a small group of men who were served an eviction notice by the Conseil des Atikamekw de Manawan (Manawan Atikamekw Council)
- The men refused to leave their cabins and created the organization to claim they had Aboriginal rights over the specific land in question near Manawan.
- The organization only existed between 2013 and 2016, by this time the men had joined the Communauté Métis autochtone de Maniwaki (CMAM)
- They created the Lanaudière Clan for the CMAM, and one of them acted as its “chief”
- The preliminary trials in their members’ court cases took place in September 2019.
